For decor or function each one of these intricately woven baskets is an art piece. Traditional techniques are used weave small vines and dyed palm leaves into beautifully woven patterns. Originally woven for the winnowing of grain the baskets now bring financial support to the women weavers and their families. Each basket is unique and varies in design.
